Life-long learning has always been a philosophy that I subscribe to.   As self-taught nature photographer, part of that education has come from reading.  Although my actual library contains far more books than listed, I've included below those I have found to be particularly useful.  Although my real area of focus is landscape photography, I find it equally interesting to read books on other areas of photography as well.

The books listed below are by no means a complete list of what is available in any photographic endeavor.  These simply represent books I have found to be most helpful in my journey, and ones that I periodically remove from the shelf and re-read.  (I always read with a highlighter, simply because I often go back to the book for further reference).

Further below you will find my list of Field Guides, as well as a short listing of supplemental web sites that I utilize for field guide work.  Additionally, I have listed a few sites I use for photo shoot location research.  Perhaps this bibliography and web sites may be of assistance to you as well.
